GRADUATE WATER SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Environmental Engineering, Murdoch University
The newest addition to our team, Ramon’s interests include water distribution network optimisation, renewable energy systems and circular/sustainable economy frameworks. Since joining the OneStone Consulting team in February 2020 he has since gained experience in hydraulic modelling, water hammer analyses and data analytics.
Ramon has been involved in numerous projects in the past including research into water repellency and drylands salinity issues throughout Western Australia’s Wheatbelt farmlands; Photovoltaic Reverse Osmosis (PVRO) systems in regional WA, water balance models in the Pilbara and low-carbon geopolymer concrete research innovations in WA’s south-west region.
He was selected for the New Colombo Plan initiative and sent to Kerala, India in 2019 to participate in a mobile PVRO water purification project, addressing local water quality issues and poverty within the region. Ramon singly devised a financial plan to assess the feasibility of a larger scale PVRO unit in Kerala (500L/H). The one being used was ~20L/H.
And personally, Ramon’s interests include international aid and music.
